Hair of the Dog offers more than just dog grooming it's a Pooch SALON! Whether your dog needs a quick Four Paw Pedicure, a coat trim, teeth cleaning or just a nice bath and dry, we offer a range of services to suit your needs.

Our most popular is the Top 2 Tail Groom, which will leave your pet relaxed, gorgeous and smelling sweet. If you're not sure what to go for, give us a call, we will be happy to advise you.

And if you're busy and your dog needs somewhere to stay for the day after its pamper, try our doggy daycare. Leave your pet in our hands and you can go about your day safe in the knowledge that they'll be cared for by our team of animal lovers who treat them like one of the family.

TOP 2 TAIL GROOM

"Pamper your pooch the way they deserve to be pampered."
  • Quality professional products used and chosen to suit your pooch's skin and coat type.
  • Hand dried and styled by clipping and scissoring to the highest of standards.
  • Styling to suit you and your dog's lifestyle.
      • Also included:
      • Ears cleaned
      • Tear stain remover applied (if required).
      • Nails clipped and the hair between the pads removed.
      • Perfume spray.
BATH AND DRY

"Let's give them a scrub, in the Hair of the Dog tub"
  • As always, only top quality professional shampoos and conditioners are used and chosen to suit your pooch's skin and coat type.
  • Your pooch is then dried with our Dryer/Blaster, brushed and ready to go....but not without a finishing touch of doggie perfume.
  • PLEASE NOTE:
    • this treatment is only available for shorthaired breeds which require no styling

 

    GENERAL TEETH CLEAN

    "Assists your pooch to own the smile and fresh breathe we all want to see"
    • General clean with Dent-valu (used by vets)
    • A brush with a 'special care' doggie toothbrush & doggie toothpaste follows this, leaving your pooch's breath smelling nice and fresh.
      • PLEASE NOTE: Major dental problems need to be dealt with by your vet.
    PAWDICURE

    "This will leave your pooch feeling like they are wearing new shoes every time!"
    • Nail clipping
    • Nails being filed and buffed to remove any unwanted rough edges.
    • The excess hair is removed from between the pads.
    • Pads are treated with Paws Wax.
